Aaron Maurer's collage work is dark and mysterious while at the same time reminiscent of the romantic neo-classical paintings of David, and science-fiction illustration of the 1960's. Maurer strives to create work which expresses various stages of decay, their perceived times in a constant state of flux, conveying the inevitable cycle of death and rebirth that governs all things. Maurer grew up in Minneapolis, MN and attended the Rhode Island School of Design, where he majored in film and animation. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

Mackenzie grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and received her BFA from Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in 2003. She currently lives and works in San Francisco, CA.
